A movie about Irish rockstar Phil Lynott and late mother Philomena could be on the way, according to Jim Sheridan.
The Irish director has revealed it’d be a pleasure to work on film surrounding the duo, and it’s something he’d consider looking into.
Speaking to the Irish Mirror, he said, “I’d love to see a movie on Phil you know. It’s hard though but I’d love to see it.
“There was a lot of talk about it. We are still talking about it. Yeah, I’d probably try to.”
Philomena sadly passed away last week, age 88, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Following her passing, we took a look back at one of our most memorable shoots, with the iconic woman.
Philomena allowed VIP into her Dublin home in May 2014, where we spoke for hours about life, love and health.
