It was announced last year that Tayto Park would be closing its doors and reopening under a new name.

It was then confirmed that the new name would be Emerald Park.

And now we know when the doors will officially reopen under the new name in just over a month!

Yes, Emerald Park will officially open to the public on March 25th with all new signage being erected in the run-up.

It won’t just be the name that is getting an overhaul, two new junior rides and some new zoo arrivals will also be unveiled in the coming weeks.

General Manager of Emerald Park, Charles Coyle said today: “Our new website emeraldpark.ie went live last week and work is underway around the park in preparation for our re-opening!

“It’s a big job to upgrade everything but it’s exciting for the team here at Emerald Park seeing it come together and we look forward to welcoming all of our guests from March 25th.’’

To mark the new park tickets are currently on sale for the 25th and 26th of March at a reduced rate of 20 per cent off.

If you pre-book online the All Access ticket will cost €35 and the Junior zone ticket will cost €30.
