Tensions at an all time high for Room to Improve finale

We can’t believe another season of Room to Improve has come to an end.

But they certainly ended with a bang as tensions peaked on Sunday night’s episode.

In fact, things were so bad that Claire Irwin branded it as an “absolute crisis”.

Dermot Bannon arrived in Castleknock to help Andy and Ann-Marie Gray transform their three-bed semi-detached house. With two growing sons they need to expand on their space.

It seemed like a simple ask, something that Dermot has done over and over again.

But he had his work cut out for him as he had to deal with fixing the entire structure of the house as well as plenty of clutter.

The house was poorly insulated which meant extra work with them being forced to pump the walls. Then they realised the wall they needed to knock was a supporting wall which meant they needed to increase the budget to get it taken down.

When it came to the budget, things took a turn when the couple learned that there were some issues taking funds from the bank.

And Twitter were just as equally stressed.

Thankfully, Dermot was able to create the perfect family home for the Grays much to their delight.

Unfortunately, it’s the last episode of the season so we’ll have to figure out what to do with our Sunday nights now.
