It seems we’re coming up to a lot of reunions at the moment. Westlife famously had their comeback tour last year, One Direction are in talks about theirs later this year and now Girls Aloud are seemingly discussing one too.

The girl groups who’s members included Cheryl Tweedy, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Ireland’s own, Nadine Coyle formed in 2002 on talent show, Popstars: The Rivals.

2022 will be the girls big 20 year anniversary since they formed and seemingly they are already in talks about doing some sot of reunion to mark the date.

Speaking to The Sun Nadine did not deny the possibility of a comeback tour; “There’s been loads of conversations and people now are getting in contact, like, “What do we do?” It’s still early.”

In November 2012 the band did release a greatest hits compilation called Ten, as well as an ITV documentary called Girls Aloud: Ten Years at the Top.

Kimberley Walsh was less forthcoming with information simply saying that “It will have been 20 years in 2022, it’s a long way off still’ also adding; “Everybody is busy at the moment, but I have a lot of love for all the girls, I’m proud of all of them,” she said.

Here’s hoping we’ll get this reunion!
