“There was never any friendship” Nadine Coyle on Girls Aloud

Nadine Coyle has admitted that she was never friends with her fellow Girls Aloud members.

The singer appeared on Celebrity Juice where she opened up about the relationship she had with the other women.

When host Keith Lemon asked who her favourite member was, the star couldn’t pick and replied: ‘Them all’

When the presenter asked if she’s still in touch with the Kimberly Walsh, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Cheryl she said: “No. It’s for the best.”

Keith pressed her and asked if it was true that there was a big falling out between the Northern Irish star and the others, but she explained that they were never close, despite working together for over 10 years.

“There was no falling out, there was just no friendship to begin with,” she said.

But before Girls Aloud fans get worried that this means they will never get back together, Nadine claimed that there would ‘probably’ be a reunion.

It’s not the first time Nadine’s opened up about her unclose relationship with the other members.

“There was always a distance between us,” Nadine told Fabulous Magazine earlier this year.

“We all had our own dressing rooms and we’d just meet up to go on stage.

“A lot of the dancers were my friends from very early on so I’d be going out and finding the local gay bar.

“What I most enjoyed about that night was going home.”

On another occasion, the 33-year-old claimed that the other girls ‘didn’t like’ her.

“A thing that did cause stress in the band was the fact that I was given more lines and the girls didn’t like Brian [Higgins, Girls Aloud collaborator] as a result of it,” she told iNews.

“They didn’t like the label as a result of it, and they didn’t like me as a result of it. So it was just circumstances which were out of my control: I didn’t decide who sang what. But I love my life and I just get on with it.”

The star also admitted that she no longer sees the girls and that they haven’t been together since their last tour in 2013.

“I’m not in touch with them, I haven’t seen the girls since we finished our last tour together which was a really long time ago,” the Derry woman said.
