“It’s lonely and scary…” Grace Mongey opens up about her past battles with depression

Grace Mongey has opened up about struggling with depression, as she sends a message to all participating in Darkness Into Light this morning.

The top beauty and lifestyle blogger, who is due to give birth to her second child any day now, was unable to take part in the annual walk for suicide prevention in aid of Pieta House, but took to Instagram to congratulate all who had done DIL.

“Thinking of everything who did darkness into light. I obviously couldn’t do it this year but thinking of you all.” Grace shared on social media last night.

“I’m thinking of those still in the darkness, those who cant see the light and those that have found the light.”

“I myself struggled ion the darkness for a long time but with the support of my friends and family, professional help, medication and therapy I found the light.

“It’s not an easy road to walk, it’s lonely and scary but speak to someone and it will help.

“If you’re struggling just ask one person for help. Remember it’s okay not to feel okay.”

The beauty, who is better known as Faces By Grace, recently shared a pregnancy update as she nears her due date.
