Ireland AM has raised an incredible €50,000 for Children’s Health Ireland.

For Muireann O’Connell and Tommy Bowe’s final show ahead of Christmas, the former rugby star headed to the Children’s Health Ireland in Crumlin.

He was decked out in a blue suit that was covered in festive designs like snowflakes and reindeer.

Tommy was joined by Karen Koster for the show, who was wearing a Santa Clause gúna!

They were joined by a star-studded line-up, hearing from a mix of celebrities, staff, patients and their families throughout the morning.

The guests on the show included Hugh Kane (director of fundraising at CHI), Brian Howard and Sinéad Wylde (All-Ireland winning footballers with Dublin in 2023), Rob Kearney and Jamie Heaslip (former rugby stars) as well as staff, patients and their family members.

“The Children’s Health Foundation have enjoyed a wonderful partnership with Ireland AM that has spanned more than 20 years,” said a CHI spokesperson.

“During that time, thanks to our very generous supporters, we have raised significant funds for Children’s Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres. This year we are delighted to welcome Ireland AM’s Christmas show to Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin, we look forward to sharing a little bit of magic throughout the show.”
