Dermot O’Leary has admitted he will be returning to the X Factor this year, much to the relief of fans.
Viewers missed the Irish presenter on the show last year, after he was replaced by Olly Murs and Caroline Flack.
But Dermot has revealed that he also missed the show, which is why he accepted Simon Cowell’s offer to come back – although we’re sure the paycheck had some role to play in his decision…
In a statment, the host said: “I’m very flattered to be asked back to The X Factor, and am currently dusting off my dancing shoes.
“There is nothing more exciting than hosting live TV on a Saturday night. The show is naturally very close to my heart, after having hosted it for eight years.
“I’m really looking forward to it, and excited to be back.”
And we’re looking forward to having him back! Now and we need is Louis Walsh to return to the judging panel and all rights will be wronged in the world – #BringBackLouLou!
