Yvonne Connolly has opened up about the moment she realised her partner John was the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.
In an interview with Sunday Independent’s Life magazine, Yvonne admitted that there was a defining moment in their relationship when she realised he was the one.
She said, “One Winter’s night in Dublin, early in our relationship, the heating was broken. It was Baltic. I came out of the bathroom, freezing, and he was sprawled out on my side of the bed.
“He looked at me and told me he was warming it up for me.
“And I fell head over heels in love.”
Yvonne went on to explain that although she’s convinced John is the one, she has her reservations about tying the knot and isn’t convinced that it’s for them.
She told the magazine, “I’m not sure about the sanctity of marriage, but I do believe in the sentiment of it, and I can see why two people want to commit to each other, especially if they plan on having children.
“John and I love the bones of each other, but neither of us feels the need to get married.
“If his feelings for me change I don’t want any vows, guilt, financial commitments or anything else for that matter to keep us together.”
We’ve no doubt this loved up couple will go the long haul!
