Yvonne Connolly is proud as punch after her youngest child has reached an incredible milestone in her career.
Ali is a dedicated equestrian and has kept her followers up to date with her skills over the course of the last few years on social media.
Now she revealed that she is “over the moon” to have qualified for this year’s Dublin Horse Show at the RDS.
She couldn’t help but praise her horse, Captain for helping them bring to the iconic horse show.

“Completely over the moon with Captain,” Ali wrote on social media.
“After a hard couple of months of school and exams he pulled it out of the bag at our first qualifier of the year yesterday, to win our section and so now all roads lead to the RDS in August!!
“Thank you to everyone who has helped me this year it certainly hasn’t been easy but we did it.”
Yvonne rushed to congratulate her youngest child.
“Couldn’t be more proud of you and Captain!” she wrote immediately after Ali shared the post.
Proud mam Yvonne shared a picture of Ali’s rosette and wrote: “@dublinhorseshow bound. So proud of Al and Captain.”
