Yvonne Connolly has taken to Twitter to show her support for long time love John Conroy after he missed out on an Emmy win last night.
The videographer was nominated for an Emmy for his work on BBC’s Luther but unfortunately he missed out on the coveted accolade at the awards.
However, the pair didn’t let the loss get them down and both said they felt incredibly lucky that he was nominated for two awards already this year.
“No win for John last night who’s still feeling incredibly lucky to have been nominated for an Emmy and a BAFTA this year.” the former model wrote.
John also took to Twitter to share his sentiments on the loss and share a photo collage of the glamorous evening.
“Thanks so much for the support. Close but no cigar 🙂 but what a year! @BAFTA & @TheEmmys nominations #solucky #happy.” he wrote.
