The Saturdays star Frankie Bridge is currently taking some time out from music to pursue other things, including being the first UK and Ireland brand ambassador for jewellery brand Thomas Sabo.
VIP Magazine caught up with Frankie this week to chat about her new role, and we also discovered that she’s a big fan of a certain Irish delicacy!
Although singing is still a passion of hers, 27-year-old Frankie has been in the music business for a long time, having started out in S Club 8 in her early teens and then moving on to The Saturdays. She is now enjoying her time, trying out different things and discovering new talents.
“I’m kind of trying out other things at the minute. I’ve kind of been doing it for a really long time so, obviously it’s always going to be my first love and I’ll always go back to it, but for now I’m quite enjoying trying out new things,” she said.
However, the mum-of-two took a trip down memory lane with us, exclusively telling VIP of the times that she performed in Ireland with her bandmates, and what she loved about our fair isle- including the humble Tayto sandwich!
“We always like to go shopping when we were there, at Brown Thomas. That’s always where we like to go.
“Or Una is always getting us to eat Tayto and soda bread. We always try to stock up when we’re there!
“The Irish are always so friendly as well, it was always a good time when we were there,” she said.
We’re glad to hear it! Who doesn’t love a good packet of Tayto to be fair?
