Erica Stoll debuted her engagement ring earlier in the week, and while it certainly didn’t look cheap, we weren’t expecting it to cost quite as much as it did.
Rory McIlroy reportedly popped the question to Erica during a recent holiday in Paris, with a ring which is said to be worth approximately €500,000.
According to Seamus Fahy of Voltaire Diamonds, the stunning oval ring set the Irish golfer back a whopping half a million euro – he obviously isn’t afraid to splash the cash for his future wife!
Speaking to the Irish Daily Mail, Seamus said, “It looks like it could be a five or six carat ring or perhaps more.
“I’m guessing you would pay something in the region of €500,000 for a ring like that.
“The round brilliant is still the most popular, but ovals are very popular at the moment and that’s obviously what they went for.”
The couple met in 2012, and have been dating each other for just over a year now.
