Nicky Byrne has been teasing that he would be getting behind the mic once again and not just in a singing way.
He confirmed his new podcast Nicky Byrne HQ and delighted fans when he confirmed that his former bandmate, Brian McFadden would be the first guest.
And he’s not pulling any punches.
In the first teaser for the pilot episode, Nicky goes head-to-head with Brian as things get heated.

Nicky teased that the first episode would be “the interview many thought would never happen”.
“Do you remember what you said to me the first time I asked you to come on this show?” Nicky asked as they kicked things off.
Brian cheekily responded: “Well, the first question was ‘Why the f**k did you leave Westlife?'”
In a tense clip, Nicky reminds him that he can’t “bulls**t me” with Brian saying: “I know that, because you were there”.

In an emotional moment, Nicky asks: “When did you and I — not just Westlife — lose that bond?”
He captioned the teaser video: “I can’t believe I’m actually writing this… but here we are! My brand new podcast, Nicky Byrne HQ, drops next Thursday, and you’ll never guess who my first guest is! Check out this clip and get ready for a conversation I never thought would happen again. Let’s go!”
He also promised that it’s not all drama. He also posted a video of them reminiscing and having a laugh together.
“Yes there was drama but we had lots of laughs too! Follow my podcast now to be the first to get access to the episode when it drops this Thursday!”
