If you’re hanging around Smithfield Square next month there’s a good chance you’ll bump into Hollywood star Colin Farrell, who’s coming back home to Dublin – how exciting!
The Irish actor is jetting back into the capital for the premiere of his new movie The Lobster, which has already received rave reviews across the pond.
The True Detective star stars alongside Rachel Weisz, Ben Whishaw and John C Reilly in the flick, which has already won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
The premise of the movie is, eh, slightly bizarre: it’s set in the near future where single people are transported to The Hotel where they must marry within 45 days or face being transformed into an animal of their choosing and released into The Woods.
Colin will attend the Irish premiere at the Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield, which, luckily for VIP Towers, is just a few doors down from us! The red carpet event takes place on October 8, while The Lobster will be released in Ireland by Element Pictures Distribution on 16 October 2015.
