Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have made this dreary day a little bit more bearable by announcing their return to Dublin.
The duo will play the 3Arena on Friday April 15th, and will head to Belfast the following week to perform on the 21st of April.
The pair are huge fans of Ireland, and ahead of their gig in Marley Park last summer, made a tribute video for their fans here.
During one of his recent visits to Ireland, Macklemore spoke to Rap Ireland about his Irish connections, saying, “My heritage is Irish – primarily Irish. I’ve always wanted to come out here. Like the Irish Celebration song we made resonated with a bunch of folks.
“When I wrote it I wanted to be careful and more than anything I wanted to show it from my family’s perspective. It celebrates my ancestry and culture and it response it got last night makes it worthwhile.”
Tickets for their upcoming gigs go on sale this Friday and are priced from €46.14.
