While Doireann Garrihy won’t be leaving 2FM until the end of the month, rumours have already swirled about who could possibly replace her.
She will leave the show after five years.

Who could step into the hot seat?
Well, Laura Fox is the favourite to take over from Doireann Garrihy.
The Dancing with the Stars finalist hosts her own radio show at the weekend on 2FM and is currently filling in for Jennifer Zamparelli on her morning show on the station. She also hosts Ireland’s Fittest Family taking over from Mairéad Ronan last year.
She has quickly become a household name!
She is one of the early favourites with BoyleSports giving her 5/2 odds to replace Doireann.
Jennifer Zamparelli is also tipped to make a return to the morning slot having previously hosted Breakfast Republic with odds of 9/2.
Joanne McNally (4/1), Lottie Ryan (6/1) and ex-Love Islander Maura Higgins (12/1) are also in the running to take over from Doireann.
