The IFTA’s have announced a star studded lineup of guest presenters for this years ceremony.
The awards show which is set to take place virtually on the 4th of July at 10pm on Virgin Media One, will be hosted by Gráinne Seoige and will have guest presenters including Colin Farrell, who will present Best Director Film Award, Olivia Coleman, who will present Best Actor in a Lead Role Film Award.
Mark Hamill, best known for his role as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars will present the IFTA Rising Star Award, nominees for this award include Nicola Coughlan, Clare Dunne, Eve Hewson, Cathy Brady and Paddy Slattery.
Other presenters include Bob Geldof, Fionn O’Shea, Deirdre O’Kane and Liam Neeson and Pierce Brosnan will both make special contributions to the show.
That sounds like an amazing line-up!
Show host Gráinne Seoige recently shared her delight about winning the job, according to Goss.ie she said, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be hosting the IFTA awards this year. I’ve watched the Irish industry blossom over the years and have seen first-hand how IFTA has championed, nurtured and recognised Irish screen talent”.
