Eurovision might not be taking place until May but we’re already counting down the days.
On Friday, the Irish entry was confirmed.
Six talented acts competed on Eurosong during a special episode of The Late Late Show with Bambie Thug winning out with their song Doomsday Blue.
And now we know when they’ll be first taking to the stage in Malmö!
Ireland has to compete against 14 other countries to secure a place in the final.
Bambie Thug will perform during the first semi-final on May 7th!
Ireland will face Ukraine, Cyprus, Poland, Serbia, Lithuania, Croatia, Slovenia, Iceland, Finland, Portugal, Luxembourg, Australia, Azerbaijan and Moldova.
Only 10 countries will go through during the semi-final, with the second semi-final taking place on Thursday night.

The top 20 acts as well as the “Big Five” – France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom and the winners from 2023, which is Sweden compete at the final AKA Eurovision on Saturday night.
Ireland has failed to progress further than the semi-final stages at Eurovision since 2018.
However, it’s believed that competing in the first semi-final is seen as an advantage as the public will become more familiar with the songs over the course of the week.
Fingers crossed for Bambie Thug!
