We are flying without wings after hearing about this news.
An Post has revealed that they will honour Westlife with special 25th anniversary stamps.
One stamp shows all four boys together as well as four stamps with Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan’s faces on them to celebrate each of them.
It’s no surprise that they’re “honoured” by the recognition by An Post.

“Who wouldn’t want these stamps when we’re looking like that,” they wrote on social media.
“To have this recognition means the world to us. It is such an honour and privilege to be featured on Irish stamps and it’s a very special way to commemorate 25 years of Westlife touring together. We are so grateful to the fans who’ve supported us right from the very beginning and also a special mention and thank you to An Post too.”
Notably absent from the stamps is founding member of the band, Brian McFadden, who left the band in 2004.
An Post writes: “In recognition of their achievements, they also won many awards, including two Brit awards, four MTV awards, four Record of the Year Awards, and one World Music Award.
“Twenty-five years on from the founding of the band, Westlife’s many successful songs are still the soundtrack to countless memories. They’ve remained popular ever since, bringing people together in mutual appreciation of their music.
“This year, An Post honours the achievements of boyband Westlife with some very special stamps celebrating 25 Years of Westlife.”
You can get the four stamps for €6.60 or a special First Day cover for €8. There is also a souvenir sheet for €3.
