Westlife delighted fans when they announced that they were going on tour for their 25th anniversary.
They originally announced a five night residency in the 3Arena as well as three nights in Belfast’s SSE Arena.
Now they have revealed that they will be extending their Dublin residency for an extra five nights.
Due to phenomenal demand, an extra five dates, 15th, 16th, 18th, 19th and 20th September, have been added.
These will be added to the original dates of the 22nd to the 26th of September.
These landmark dates mark the band’s 25th anniversary celebrations and will bring their total number of performances at the 3Arena to an unprecedented 79 shows, a figure unmatched by any other artist in the venue’s history.
Shane, Nicky, and Kian of Westlife said: “There’s no better feeling than coming home to Dublin. This city has been at the heart of our story from the very beginning, and to kick off our 25th anniversary celebrations at the 3Arena feels incredibly special. Every time we play here, the crowd’s energy is electric, we can’t wait to celebrate with you all and make more amazing memories together.”
Tickets for all 10 dates go on sale this Thursday at 9am.
