Well known faces stepped out for the annual Dublin Rape Crisis Centre fundraising lunch.
The beautiful ‘Countdown to Christmas’ fundraising lunch took place at the Conrad Hotel over the weekend.
Those in attendance included Muireann O’Connell, Dr Ciara Kelly, Sallyann Clarke, Lorraine Keane, as well as Sophie Anderton and Amanda Brunker.
The fundraising lunch helps support the centre which helps thousands of women across Ireland.
Speaking at the lunch, Rachel Morrogh, Chief Executive of Dublin Rape Crisis Centre said: “We are extremely grateful to all the wonderful individuals and companies who have helped organise this event, especially to Newstalk which is our sponsor for the lunch.
“All funds raised go towards DRCC’s work supporting victims and survivors of sexual violence and raising awareness of its impact and prevention.
“Last year, Dublin Rape Crisis Centre’s National Helpline had almost 23,000 contacts. The organisation carried out over 6,000 counselling sessions and supported 385 people at the Sexual Assault Treatment Unit. Our services are under increased pressure in 2025 so the support from the Countdown to Christmas Lunch is needed more than ever.”
