Aoibhin Garrihy has taken to social media today to tell Electric Picnic goers to have a great time and make memories this weekend.
She posted an adorable throwback snap of herself and her hubby-to-be John at the Stradbally festival six years ago. She also revealed that the couple heard the song that was to become their first dance song at their upcoming wedding at the 2010 festival.
Alongside the pic on Instagram Aoibhin wrote, “#FBF to our first Electric Picnic 6 years ago…we heard our first dance song live that night..can’t wait to relive the moment in a few weeks time. Make memories this weekend folks and have a ball. #EP16 #EP10.”
We took a look back at who played at the popular festival that year, and acts such as The National, LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, The Frames, Modest Mouse, Mumford & Sons and Imelda May took to the stage that year so there’s a chance it could be one of them.
We haven’t long to wait though as Aoibhinn will walk down the aisle later this month.
