Richard Branson made his views on Ryan Tubridy‘s fashion choices very clear last night, as he literally cut one of the host’s favourite items of clothing from his life.
The multi-millionaire has expressed his disgust for ties time and time again, and didn’t hold back last night when he told Ryan about his feelings for this specific piece of attire.
Richard claims that ties are like a ‘noose around the neck,’ and decided to pull out a scissor and get rid of Ryan’s one.
On the night, Richard also told the Irish host about his friendship with Bono, and apparently the pair go way back!
Richard arrived in Dublin earlier this week, and during his down-time, got to hang out with his friend and the U2 frontman.
Speaking to Tubs, he said, “He took us to the theatre and a very nice restaurant. We had some good drinks. He’s a good friend.”
He added, “We both have similar interests and we use our celebrity statuses to try to make the world a better place. He does a lot of fantastic things and quite often we overlap and do those things together.”
