Angela Scanlon is one busy lady at the moment.
The TV presenter has just wrapped up hosting the online content and backstage interviews of the live shows for The Voice UK, among the star-studded panel of Tom Jones, Rita Ora, Will.i.am and Ricky Wilson, as well as juggling her role as a stylist and fashion writer.
She also recently revealed she has THREE new shows coming out on RTE in the near future.
We had to ask – how does she keep all of her plates spinning while still looking great?
Angela said the first tip she has is catching enough z’s: “It’s really important to get the right amount of sleep – you’ll need less concealer if you have less bags under your eyes,” she laughed.
After getting a good night’s kip, she said one of the first products she reaches for in the morning is a good serum.
“I love Lancome Génifique,” she said. “It’s amazing, and really gives your skin a great glow.”
Angela also swears by a primer to set her look for the day ahead, and recommends the popular Smashbox version, adding that La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water Spray is another sure-fire way to get your skin looking flawless.
“Ooh, and Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask is also one of my absolute favourite things,” she chipped in. “It goes on like foam and melts in on your face, I adore it.”
Make-up wise, she says her top tip to is to maintain a “strong brow”.
“It’s all about the brow gel,” Angela told us. “I would forego mascara for a bit of brow gel, my fave is, again, by Smashbox. A strong brow, babe, that’s what it’s all about.”
She added: “I love a bit of highlighter as well. You can’t really beat Charlotte Tilbury ‘Wonderglow’ for that, it’s just amazing.”
Another product that Angela shouts about is Carmex lipbalm – it’s been around for decades and she says it’s a classic for a reason, as it’s the best way to keep her lips silky smooth and chap-free.
The Dublin lady also disclosed a secret beauty regime that could double as a spread for her morning toast – she slathers her face in honey!
“Sometimes, when my skin is problematic or a bit ‘upset’, I use Manuka honey as a face mask,” she said. “It’s antibacterial and really soothing and just magical!”
