Today must be a difficult day for Vogue Williams, as she marks the fifth anniversary of her beloved dad’s passing.
The model’s father Freddie Williams passed away in 2010 at the age of 68 from a stroke. Vogue has spoken out in the past about it’s not something she will ever get over, adding “I think about my dad three or four times a day.”
The 29-year-old posted a loving tribute to him on her Instagram page today, five years after his passing.
“Five years ago today we lost our amazing Dad. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of him,” she wrote. “I’m so glad we got to the stage of being best friends as well as father and daughter before I lost him. Miss you always Dad”
Vogue recently opened up about the tough year she has been having, after splitting from husband Brian McFadden in the summer.
“Life is so strange and at times extremely difficult,” she said. “I haven’t had the best year and it doesn’t look like the rest of it will be much better but hard times only make you tougher.
“I’m realising that I need to do more for myself and look after me for a change. I’m posting this now hoping to look back in six months and realise I got through the most difficult year in my life and I’m sure I’ll be in a much happier place when I see it.”
