Vogue Williams is sharing her experience with cruel comments online, as her newborn son Otto is targeted by trolls.
Following a post made by Vogue earlier this month, detailing a plane journey during which a man refused to swap seats so she could sit with her family, many people started sending the model and her baby boy nasty messages.
Sharing some of the hate they’ve gotten on Instagram, the comments read: “Disgusting” and “How can it be so f***ing ugly.”
The person went on to send a third message, writing; “Wouldn’t trade my plane seat for that either. Wouldn’t even want to sit close to it.”
But Vogue made it clear she’s having known of it.
Writing alongside the comments, Vogue explained how her post about the plane journey was intended to be funny, and didn’t warrant this type of response.
As the presenter said: “Enough of this. I would never expect or demand anyone to swap seats with me. It was a joke that definitely didn’t land.”
In her story about the flight, the Dublin said: “So I was sitting in an aisle of three, I had booked the wrong seat on the other aisle. And then Spenny and the kids were in the other seat. So they were in the aisle seat and middle seat so we were almost in an aisle of five”
“And the guy was sitting in the aisle seat and Spencer was like ‘Would you mind doing window instead of aisle so we can be all together,’‘ Vogue explained.
“And he was like ‘Yes Spencer, I would mind.’”
Continuing on, Vogue says that the man eventually gave up his seat for Vogue to tend to her children.
“Anyways, when he realised he was being an absolute t**t, because he looked at me with the newborn baby and two kids beside me, he was like ‘Okay fine, fine, I’ll do it’.”
“Then literally the air hostess came down and I asked her ‘Would you have another aisle seat for this f***ing particular piece of s*** over here?” He was awful.’” she concluded.
