The friendship between Vogue Williams and Brian McFadden has been the biggest focus since their split announcement, and the model has admitted that remaining close to her ex husband is important to her.
Remaining such good friends has raised some eyebrows since it’s so unseen in the showbiz world, with the pair still having nights out with mutual pals and Vogue enjoying girly days out with Brian’s daughters.
The exes even still live together in London, proving they definitely do have one of the most amicable separations in celeb history!
Speaking about their break up, the Bear Grylls: Mission Survive star said she always wants the ex-Westlife member as “a part of her life”.
“Brian is still my best friend and we will always be friends and part of each other’s lives. At the moment things are very easy,” she said. “I’m trying my best to be a grown up about it.”
Speaking to the Herald, the Dubliner admitted she’s been keeping herself busy since the split and will fly to LA in a few weeks to film a new RTE 2 documentary series – which will see her spending time in a maximum-security prison where she will chat to inmates on death row. First drinking her own urine for Bear Grylls, now this? Vogue is a brave lady…
“It’s going to be a really interesting show to work on,” she said about her new venture. “And unlike anything else I have done before. The response I got to the last couple of documentaries were great, so hopefully people will like this, too.”
It’s not just Vogue who has a packed schedule to take her mind off heartbreak though – Brian will be on our telly screens for a a second series of Who’s Doing the Dishes, while he’ll perform in Dublin for the first time in a Decade on November 4 to promote new single Call on Me Brother.
He says the song is dedicated to his friends, who have been there for him throughout the tougher times, including his recent marriage breakdown.
