Virgin Media’s Zara King had a busy week as she accepted the Distinguished Graduate Award for Journalism at Griffith College this week.
Her doting husband was at her side for the celebration.
She was especially “honoured” that her 91-year-old grandfather was able to be at her side for the moment.
Oh and her adorable pooch as well.

“Honoured to accept the @griffithcollege Distinguished Graduate Award for Journalism today. Such a privilege to share this moment with my husband and family, especially my 91 year old Grandad,” she wrote as she shared snaps from the day.
“Shoutout to Darcy for being the best girl.”
Yes, we think Darcy really stole the show. Sorry Zara!
Zara has had a busy few months, after tying the knot over the summer.
Soon after she was promoted to Southern Correspondent for Virgin Media News back in September.
Zara is now based in Cork, where she was born.
At the time of the announcement, she said: “Thank you for all your lovely messages and well wishes about my new role. After 11 wonderful years in Dublin, I move to Cork next month. So looking forward to this next chapter.”
She went on to say: “I’m thrilled to return to Munster, my home region, having been born in Cork and raised in Waterford. I’ll continue my work with Virgin Media News, focusing on stories that impact people’s lives.”
