Siobhan Bastible shared a heart-warming goodbye on Twitter as she departed her position.
The news anchor shared that she has spent most of her adult life working at Virgin Media and was very thankful for her colleagues.
“As I finish up in Virgin Media, I want to thank my work family for your support and friendship along the way – journalists, camera operators, vt editors, make up department & canteen staff.”
Siobhan said that after her 16 years with the company “It’s time for a change”, but assured viewers this is not a final goodbye.

Siobhan has presented the news bulletins on Ireland AM as well as worked as courts correspondent on The Tonight Show with Vincent Browne.
Friends and followers shared support on Siobhans post with Ireland AM presenter Karen Koster saying, “I’ll miss you Siobhan! Always the epitome of the polished professional. Here’s to no more 3am starts!” and sports presenter Ger Treacy writing, “An absolute pro and one of the nicest people you could ever meet. It was my honour and pleasure to work with you @SBastibleTV. It truly is an end of an era. I wish you all the luck and love in the world my earlies and lockdown pal xx”.
