1. Taste City Fusion
This is a brand new four day food festival taking place from 22nd October- 25th October, brought to you by the creators of Taste of Dublin.The festival is dedicated to celebrating Dublin’s world-class food scene, with unique dining experiences, masterclasses, workshops, and city centre culinary experiences. There will be masterclasses, hands on workshops, fab food trails, discussions and loads more. Tickets are available at eventbrite.ie and vary in price from €10-62 depending on which events you’d like to go to.
2. Bram Stoker Festival
This spooky festival is in its 6th year and is now one of the biggest events in the country; it celebrates the profound effect Bram Stoker had on Irish culture. The festival runs from the 23rd -26th October and has something for everyone, whether you’re into movies, music or theatre this festival will most definitely entertain you. 3. Blackrock Markets
If you’re looking to get out of the hustle and the bustle of the city this is the perfect spot for you. Located just 20 minutes outside the city centre, Blackrock Market is just by the sea and has a variety of stalls on offer, from food to fortune tellers and clothes to barbers – you’ll be spoilt for choice. It’s open Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays from 11am -5.30pm
4. Merrion Square Open Air Art Exhibition
Why not head down to Merrion Square this weekend, where it will double as an art gallery. Irish artists are given permits to display their art here every weekend and best of all it’s completely free to attend! It’s on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am-6pm.
5. Great Western Greenway
Head west for the Bank Holiday weekend and embrace the great outdoors. This is a 42km trail between Westport town and Achill Island. Although 42km may seem like a lot, the breath taking scenery along the trail will make it fly by, you can walk or cycle it and you’re bound to feel great at the end.
