We all knew Grá ar an Trá was going to be a hit.
Let’s be real! How could it not be?
The first episode aired on Monday night with plenty of twists and turns to entertain the viewers who were glued to their television screens.
Our hosts Grainne Seoige, James Kavanagh and Siomha Ni Ruairc introduced us to our 10 singletons who came out of their cages swinging…to learn their cúpla focal.
As you know the “couple with most focal” will win the show and walk away with a €10,000 prize.
While we got our first five couples on Monday night – Laura and Loman, Saoirse and Femi, Megan and Sean and Michelle and Andrew.
However, things are set to shake up as two new singletons entered the Love Teach at the end of the episode. Oh and we’ll get our first elimination as well next week.
So will Zak and Talia be able to shake things up enough to stay in the house?
Of course, fans shared their thoughts on social media, praising the “craic” filled show.
No lads you don’t understand how obsessed I am with the concept of #GráArAnTrá ☘️
As a teenager who spent all of my summers sa Ghaeltacht, this is the tv show I’ve always needed

Grá ar an Trá is up there with Father Ted and Tallafornia, as some of the greatest shows to ever come out of this wonderful country.#GráaranTrá #VirginMedia #Irish #Ireland #GráinneSeoige

#GráArAnTrá is already about 10 million times better than #LoveIslandUK . Real people, not obsessed with having a six-pack or a perfect body, not bitchy (yet at least!) and fully up for having the craic. Love it already! 😍
