Viewers were left enraged following a segment on The Late Late Show last night.
Megan Halvey-Ryan, a 13-year-old suffering with scoliosis, appeared on the show to talk about her experience with the HSE.
The brave teenager spoke about how she was on a waiting list for 18 months with the HSE, before receiving treatment, and their prolonged response caused her to miss out on a lot of school.
“I knew I couldn’t do anything as a normal teenager,” she said.
“It’s only in the past few months that I’ve said why haven’t I had my surgery yet? Why are you leaving me get this bad? I am in pain every single day, why can’t you give me my surgery?”
