Viewers were left astounded last night following one of the “cringiest” Late Late Shows to date.
Producers pulled out all the stops for the Valentine’s Special, and although some parts left viewers red-faced, all in all, it made for television gold!
The studio audience consisted of 200 singletons looking for love – and they were one of the rowdiest crowds in the show’s history.
The outgoing audience helped Al Porter and Linda Martin kick off the show with Meat Loaf’s Dead Ringer for Love and it was a memorable performance, to say the least!

“Exotic” Deano from last year’s Valentine’s Special returned in the hopes of finding love this time round, but unfortunately he failed to win over the ladies once more. However, love was in the air for personal trainer Aaaron and nurse Sophie, who met on the Late Late version of Blind Date – and they even shared a kiss opposite Ryan on the couch!
The Valentine’s Special reached is peak when Cork natives, Crystal Swing took to the stage to perform their hit song He drinks Tequila, and got the crowd to join in with their performance!
