He’s dated a legion of women, but Hollywood heart-throb Colin Farrell has admitted he does’t believe in ‘The One’.
The actor has been somewhat unlucky in love during his life, and he now has revealed he doesn’t think there’s one person out there for everyone.
Colin (39) has had failed relationships with actress Amelia Warner and writer Emma Forrest, and he also dated model Kim Bordenave, with whom he has son James, and actress Alicja Bachleda-Curus, who he has son Henry with.
Speaking about his outlook on love, the True Detective star says he tries to stay upbeat. He told German magazine TV Movie that although he’s in no rush to get married, he still does believe in it.
“I’m very happy anyway, thanks to my kids. But I don’t believe there’s just one person in the world for everyone,” he said. “With eight billion people, that search could take a while!”
Colin also spoke about how much he has enjoyed filming True Detective in Los Angeles, as it allowed him to be closer to his sons.
“It was great seeing them after work,” he smiled.
It recently emerged that the actor had turned down a multi-million-euro film role so he could spend more time with his sons, according to emails leaked from Sony Motion Pictures.
Despite being keenly pursued by studio executives, the Dubliner opted against taking a role alongside Sasha Baron Cohen in the comedy ‘Grimsby’ so he could be with his little boys more.
