There was booing at Adele’s Belfast concert last night – but it wasn’t for the British superstar.
The SSE arena was filled with boos when a female audience member proposed to her boyfriend – well it was Leap Year after all – and his reaction wasn’t up to the crowd’s standard.
In fact, the Skyfall singer wasn’t too impressed either when the guy in question replied ‘maybe’ to his S.O when she popped the question.
“You need to say a proper yes, bruv. You have to say yes,” she said. When the boos began, she added: “Oh God, they’re turning. Oh my God.”
Last night marked the award-winning singer’s first arena show, and the star did not let her 11,000 Belfast fans down with a power house comeback performance.
She will play Belfast again tonight before coming to Dublin on Friday and Saturday in the 3Arena.
