They played three sold-out gigs in the Arena over the weekend which saw each night sell out as they finished off their farewell tour.
The three men shared a picture of them on stage simply writing: “Thank You Dublin!!!”
Fans took to social media to share their feelings about the end of the band’s touring life.

Great night at the Wolfe Tones final ever concert.
Thanks for 60 years of letting the people sing their stories and their songs,
And the music of their native land,
Their lullabies and battlecries and songs of hope and joy. 🇮🇪 @wolfetones pic.twitter.com/g5z3XeVIYV

We had such an incredible weekend, topped off by singing with Tommy Skelly, the man wrote “Go on Home British Soldiers” in 1972 as he watched Bloody Sunday unfold. Thanks to all who were at the 3 Arena and to @wolfetones for an amazing farewell weekend. Epic. 🎼🇮🇪 pic.twitter.com/4g36B2lxvK

The band have started a campaign to open for Oasis when they play Croke Park next August. So hopefully they get the chance to take to the stage once again.
Fingers crossed for that campaign!
