It’s safe to say that Jamie Dornan is a national treasure.
So we’re always excited when we hear that he has a new film coming out.
The trailer for his latest flick, A Haunting in Venice, has been released and we couldn’t be more excited!
The film is the latest instalment in Kenneth Branagh’s Agatha Christie adaptations following Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile.
While the trailer keeps the plot points of the film hidden, fans of the iconic mystery author will know it very well.
It shows director Kenneth Branagh back as famous detective Hercule Poirot who finds himself at the attendance of a séance in Italy at Halloween when a murderer strikes.
Jamie and Kenneth have worked together before on his semi-autobiographical film Belfast. And these two aren’t the only Belfast stars in the film.
12-year-old Jude Hill will also appear in the film after hitting the big screen as Jamie Dornan’s son in Belfast. They will once again play a father-son duo in the murder mystery.
The film also stars Tina Fey, Kelly Reilly and Michelle Yeoh, to name just a few!
The synopsis for A Haunting in Venice reads: “Now retired and living in self-imposed exile in the world’s most glamorous city, Poirot reluctantly attends a séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo.
“When one of the guests is murdered, the detective is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.”
A Haunting in Venice hits cinemas on September 15th
