Tommy Fury has insisted there’s no bad blood between himself and Maura Higgins, following their summer in the Love Island villa.
The pair got off to a rocky start as Maura pursued the 20-year-old boxer, however once he decided it was Molly-Mae he wanted to be with, the Longford lass left them to it.
While Maura received harsh criticism from viewers over some of her initial advances towards Tommy, he admits the pair are in a great place now, and would class her as one of his closest pals.
Speaking exclusively to VIP Magazine, Tommy, who was just announced as a brand ambassador for BoohooMAN, said, “Maura and I are the best of friends.
“Herself and Curtis plus Molly-Mae and I are like the four musketeers. There’s no bad blood nor has there ever been any.”
From the moment Tommy decided to couple up with Molly-Mae, everything changed for the sports star in the villa.
Happier than ever, he didn’t wait long before asking the blonde beauty to be his girlfriend, and their relationship has continued to grow and blossom ever since.
With so much going on, we sat down with Tommy to hear all about life outside the villa, and what’s in the pipeline for him, career-wise.
Tommy, congrats on the range with BoohooMAN. You must be thrilled!
It all came about as I came out of the villa. I’m so privileged to be part of the BoohooMAN family. I’ve always loved their clothes and been behind the company so to be working with them is an honour. My edit is basically clothing and outfits that I have put together, reflecting what I would wear on a day-to-day basis. They’re outfits you can where anywhere at any time!
It must be weird not seeing the Islanders day in, day out. Are you still in touch with everyone?
I’m sure I can speak for everyone when I say we’re all extremely busy. We’re all over the world at the moment and staying in contact with everyone is hard. I’m doing my best and I hope everyone is doing amazing. I miss everyone in the villa because we all shared this amazing experience together.
One person you had a particularly strong bond with, was Curtis Pritchard. How have you two been getting on since leaving Love Island?
Yeah, we had and still do have a very strong relationship. We’re best of friends… he’s definitely friend for life. Like I said, we’re very busy but any given moment we can hang out, we do.
Do you reckon he could ever twist your arm and get you on Strictly or Dancing with the Stars?
That’s funny. He’s taught me a few dance moves here and there so maybe one day I might be his dance partner.
What do you make of his relationship with Maura? Will it last?
They bring out the best in each other and get on so well! Honestly, they’re always laughing and joking…They’re a great couple.

And of course, you and Molly seem to be going from strength to strength. We even hear rumours that you’re moving in together…
What Molly and I have is so special, and so rare to find. We love each other so, so much and we’re getting stronger each day that passes.
So career-wise, Tommy, what’s next for you? Will you be back in the ring any time soon?
I take every day as it comes so can’t really plan much. I’m just blessed to be in the position I’m in. I’m enjoying all the fun events and all the stuff that comes my way and I’m already back training as much as I can. I can’t wait to be back in that ring putting a show on for the fans. I love all my supporters and I believe they will back me and continue to support me in whatever I do.
