Fans of rugby hunk Tommy Bowe are struggling to come to terms with the fact that he’s now officially off the market.
The gorgeous sportsman tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Lucy Whitehouse at the weekend, breaking the hearts of women across the country.
The Monaghan heartthrob and his stunning new bride were joined by family and friends in Laugharne, Wales.
Tommy and Lucy are based in Belfast but decided to wed in Lucy’s native Wales. The loved-up couple met there while the rugby winger played with the Ospreys.
A Twitter snap of the pair has showed their show-stopping style at the ceremony, with the former Miss Wales looking like a princess in a strapless gown while her new hubby looked dashing in a black suit with a pink tie.
Devastated fans took to the site to express their heartbreak at the pic and the news that the star had tied the knot, with one writing, “Tommy Bowe has ripped my heart out”
Tommy proposed to his new wife in April of last year, and remained extremely tight-lipped about their big day.
However, he recently revealed that he was set to wed Lucy very soon, saying at the time: “We are really looking forward to it. It’s going to be a great day out for the two of us and for our family and friends too. It’s going to be a great day.”
His wedding comes after fellow rugby star Sean Cronin wed his partner, Claire Mulcahy, in Castleconnell, Co Limerick while former Irish and Munster legend Peter Stringer married his girlfriend Debbie O’Leary in Marbella last week.
