Today FM has announced a replacement for Al Porter, who resigned in November.
A new two-hour music and listener-driven show will kick off on Monday January 22nd with a brand new presenter.
TV and radio host Muireann O’Connell has been announced to take the reigns of the new show.
Speaking about her new show, Muireann said: “I have loved Today FM for as long as I remember and the idea of ever getting to work here was something I never imagined would happen.
“I love this place and everyone who works here and I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
Muireann joined Today FM in 2016 where she presented a number of shows across daytime and weekends.
In 2017 she became the full-time co-host of the Six O’Clock Show on TV3.
We can’t wait to hear her on the permanent slot.
