A host of well-known faces are going to find out exactly what they’re made of this Friday as The Late Late Show reveals the results of their DNA tests, in honour of St Patrick’s Day.
Earlier this year broadcaster Maura Derrane, soccer pundit Eamon Dunphy, comedian Jason Byrne and politician Michael Healy-Rae agreed to have their DNA tested to determine their ancestry. This Friday night they will find out the results live on air when Ancestry.ie’s Mike Mulligan breaks the good/bad news!
As the Irish team prepares for a crucial World Cup Qualifier against Wales, football legend Paul McGrath joins Ryan in studio to assess the Republic of Ireland’s chances. He’ll also be chatting about the glory days of Irish football and what life has been like for him since hanging up his boots.
Dublin is home to the second oldest zoo in the world, and this week Ryan will be joined by the zookeepers charged with looking after the animals as they gear up for the busy summer season. Through a live link the newest addition to the zoo’s bongo herd will be christened too.
