The Electric Picnic line up just keeps getting better, as it’s just been announced that there will be a new “Anachronia” late night stage at this years festival.
The new area is fully named as “Anachronia- Generator in the Woods”, and it’s being pitched as the “remains of an abandoned and forgotten city left over from a time unfamiliar.”
The new stage will be open from 10pm each night and DJ/Dance acts will play until the early morning, just to keep the party going!
Some performers set to take to the Anachronia stage are Subject Dublin’s Lee Kelly, Frank B, Nathan Jones and Aeron and Rift B2B, among others.
This news comes soon after the Electric Picnic lineup was extended, with artists such as The Heathers, Lynched and Sample Answer being added.
Headlining the Stradbally festival are The Chemical Brothers, LCD Soundsystem and Lana Del Ray.
Electric Picnic will take place from the 2nd-4th of September.
