The Young Offenders has officially be confirmed for a third season!
The hit BBC comedy, set in Co. Cork, will be hitting our screens for a third series, with the news being announced today by series writer and director, Peter Foott.
The second series is currently on our screens, and fans are loving having the two rogues back together!
“We are so grateful to BBC Three and thrilled that they had such faith in the stories and characters of The Young Offenders that they commissioned a third series from us,” Peter told Chortle today.

“We can’t wait for everyone to see more of Conor, Jock, Mairéad and all the characters next year in our third series.

No word yet on when exactly season three will begin filming, but we can’t wait to see more of the lads in 2020!
