The Wolfe Tones announce extra dates for Irish tour

Last summer, The Wolfe Tones played what they said would be their final show.

It was an emotional night in Thomond Park Stadium as they bid farewell to their loyal fans.

However, they revealed earlier this year that they will be back in the summer of 2026 for two more shows.

They then added more shows, meaning they will play four nights in the 3Arena altogether.

Now they have announced even more dates to the delight of fans!

The Wolfe Tones have today announced further Irish dates for summer 2026, with new shows confirmed for Killarney and Belfast.

The newly announced dates are in the Gleneagle Arena on Friday, 21st August and Saturday, 22nd August. Later in the month, they will head up to the SSE Arena to play the Saturday, 29th August.

Tickets for all newly announced shows go on general sale on Friday, 6th February at 9am.

Fans can access the MCD Presale from 9am on Wednesday, 4th February.

When they announced their return to touring, they shared a statement which read: “For more than sixty years, our music has taken us from small halls to some of the biggest stages in the world, carried always by the people who believed in what we were doing. Stepping back from live performances gave us a rare chance to pause, but it also reminded us how much those nights of music and shared spirit have meant — to us as much as to anyone in the audience.

“Over the past year, the calls for us to return have been constant. Fans have written, stopped us along the way, and reached out from every corner of Ireland and beyond. Their messages showed us how deeply these songs still resonate, and how strong the bond remains after all these years.

“We’re proud to sing about the history, culture and character of this country, and we still have the fire to do it. So in 2026, we’ll take to the stage once more. Thank you for the support — we look forward to sharing the music and the moments again.”
