Carrie Crowley, who is known for her roles in The Walsh Sisters and An Cailín Ciúin, will join Andrew Scott in an upcoming Netflix film.
Andrew is currently filming his new flick here in Ireland with Emily Blunt and Ciarán Hinds.
The film is an adaptation of Walk The Blue Fields, which is based on Claire Keegan’s novel.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Carrie has worked on an adaptation of the Irish author’s work, as the Oscar-nominated film, An Cailín Ciúin, is based on Claire’s novella, Foster.

Fellow Irish actor Ruth Bradley, who appeared in Ted Lasso, will also join the cast. Lakelands star Naoise Dunbar has also been confirmed to star in the upcoming film.
Brooklyn’s Jane Brennan and Peaky Blinder’s star Bríd Brennan are also due to appear in the flick.
The synopsis reads: “On her wedding day, a woman’s future is thrown into doubt when she is confronted with a heart-wrenching decision, as a love triangle from her past threatens to be revealed.”

This isn’t the first time Claire Keegan’s work has been adapted.
Oscar-nominated film, An Cailín Ciúin, was based on the Irish author’s novella, Foster. Cillian Murphy’s Small Things Like These was an adaptation of her short story of the same name.
There is no word on when the film will land, but we’re keeping our eyes peeled.
