VIP recently teamed up with one of our favourite hair brands, Viviscal, to give three lucky readers a chance to try the fantastic range for themselves.

Over the past five months, we selected three VIP readers – Fionnuala Keary, Paula Gannon and Lisa Cunningham – to treat their tresses to some Viviscal TLC, hoping they would see noticeable and positive results.
And in a beautiful photoshoot, it was clear the ladies were thrilled with their hair transformation, as they opened up to us about their newfound confidence.
Lisa Cunningham, Co. Limerick
29-year-old Lisa is mum of one, with one on the way, and works as an emergency medicine specialist registrar doctor in Sligo emergency department. She told us she applied for The Viviscal Voices Journey as she always had “rat’s tail” hair, which worsened after she breastfed her son. Chatting to us about how the Viviscal treatment changed her hair, she smiled: “I don’t have to worry about it now – it’s very strong and styles so easily. I’ve seen a huge improvement in its length.”
Lisa also loved her shoot with VIP, which she said treated the ladies like ‘mini celebrities’. “I felt like a right princess!” she laughed.
Paula Gannon, Co. Kildare
Mum-of-three Paula, who works in sales and marketing, said that motherhood had made her hair become really thin. “Prior to that, I had really lovely, thick hair,” she admitted. She said getting her locks back looking their best has been a godsend to her confidence: “I will continue using Viviscal, especially the shampoo and conditioner, as my hair feels and smells great after washing. I’m thrilled with the results.”
Fionnuala Keary, Co. Dublin
Fionnuala is a mum of two girls and works in financial services, and says life is hectic balancing her career and family, while still trying to maintain a social life. “I would love to say I’m glamorous, but realistically, I don’t have the time!” she said.
She credits stress to hair loss earlier in her life, and says before using Viviscal her tresses were in poor condition, describing her hair as “thin and patchy”. Now, after her treatment, she says she’s happier and more confident. “I’m less conscious about my hair now I know it looks fuller and healthier,” she said. “I’m really happy with the results.”
