The VIP List: What we’re loving this week

We are safely in autumn now, the days are getting darker and they are definitely getting so much colder.

So we need to make sure that we have something to make us happy as the evenings get longer.

Thankfully there is so much to love this week.

Digital Editor Bronwyn is loving…vision boards

I love to manifest, meditate and visualise all the good things coming to me.

So it makes sense that I am now obsessed with vision boards. You get to physically see what you are trying to manifest and look at it every day.

The Head Plan has come to create the chicest vision boards that you will proudly display in your house.

I’m a huge fan and you can find out more here.

Staff Writer Anja is loving…Naked Bakes!

If you know me you know I can’t turn down a coffee run. So when I heard that Naked Bakes was opening in Hen’s Teeth in Dublin I had to get right down. If you haven’t heard of them, Naked Bakes specialises in creating delicious baked goods and treats that just happen to be vegan.

Founded by Aisling Tuck, the company has grown from a side hustle to a successful manufacturing business to now having its very own cafe. How cool!

So, if you find yourself in the neighbourhood, get yourself down. I couldn’t recommend it enough. P.S. the cinnamon buns are to die for!

Head of Digital Jade is loving… Drobey

The days of buying a new outfit for every single event are long gone – and thank God for that.

These days, rewearing is all the rage… As is renting a gorgeous pre-loved outfit so you can feel like you’re wearing something new and fab, all the while being sustainable.

Drobey is one of my favourite rental spots, and this Christmas they’re making it even easier to rent their beautiful collection.

They’ll be taking over the Dean’s Penthouse room on both the 7th and 21st of November from 11am-8pm to allow people the chance to try on their winter collection and get their bookings in ahead of the busy Christmas period.

The ideal drop in scenario.

Bronwyn is loving…glowing skin

I am loving the trend of skincare becoming makeup and vice versa. I’m not walking around every day with a full face, but sometimes you want a bit of coverage.

Here’s where POCO Beauty steps in with their famous Universal Glow Treatment with SPF 30.

It firms and hydrates the skin, and also reduces redness and sensitivity. So your skin is glowing without having to put a lot of product on.

You can pick your favourite size here.

Head of Commercial and Events Rebecca is loving…a brilliant blowdry

I know it’s not even Halloween yet, but I’m already writing my Christmas lists and brainstorming ideas on what to get friends and family.

One gift idea that has already caught my eye is Irish hair dryer LanaiBLO’s new colour range –  just imagine this statement piece sitting on your dressing table!!

One of my favourite things about this brand is that they can personal your hairdryer – making it such a lovely gift for a friend or loved one.

Bronwyn is loving…new music

New music Friday is my favourite time of the week! Seriously!

Especially when it comes from Irish artists.

Fia Moon’s new single, Never Wrote A Song For You, is a song I’m seriously obsessed with.

This heartfelt track is the first release from her highly anticipated debut EP, scheduled for launch early 2025.

You can listen here.

Jade is loving… Irish scents

I love a good candle.

Musky, sweet, spicy…. You name it, and chances are I’ve had it lit in my bedroom over the past couple of weeks.

This week, I worked from home with a gorgeous candle from Enniskinn Handcrafted Cosmetics on the go – and it was dreamy.
The brand is the winner of this year’s Fáilte Initiative, and rightly so!

Their self care products (including candles, soaps, and bath bombs) are created in rural Northern Ireland, inspired by landscapes and folklore.

Just gorgeous.

Rebecca is loving…Zoo Lights

Dublin Zoo’s Wild Lights is always one of my favourite nights of the year and this year was no different. Whether you’re young or old, you can’t help but get caught up in the magic of this immersive night out.

This year’s theme is ‘A Journey Through Time’ to discover the story of evolution and life on earth and there is currently 50 per cent off tickets this weekend. Dublin Zoo have also announced the first ever adult-only* Wild Lights event taking place on Thursday, October 31st from 6 – 10pm – a perfect night out for anyone who won’t be trick-or-treating this Halloween.
