This week, I was invited to the Dr Dallas Clinic to try out their new laser treatment. A gentle approach to radiant skin, BBL improves the appearance of ageing skin and reduces rosacea, acne, and sun damage comfortably with little to no downtime.
So how does it work? Basically, BBL employs a broadband light, allowing for quick treatment over large skin areas. Patients may feel a warm sensation and a slight snapping feeling, more surprising than painful. A cooling gel or ultrasound gel is then used to enhance comfort during the procedure. My laser technician was amazing and talked me through each step to ensure I was as comfortable as I could be. The treatment is also customized, with various modes and passes designed to address your specific skin concerns. So whatever problem area you may have with your skin, your laser technician can design a treatment plan to fit your needs.
Unlike other treatments, surprisingly I noticed a difference right off the bat with BBL with my skin having a more uniform tone. So whether you’re looking to fight the signs of ageing, improve sun damage or combat acne, BBL can pretty much do it all!
