If you’ve been basking in the heatwave or completely hiding from it, we’re sure that you’ve had a busy week. Team VIP has been getting ready to go to print, so things are a little bit hectic at HQ at the moment.

But that hasn’t stopped us from enjoying the little things in life!

In fact, there has been plenty to love this week so here’s what we’ve been up to!

Deputy Editor, Niamh Devereux is loving…Bare By Vogue’s new facial tanning serum

This week, I was invited to Vogue Williams’ launch for the latest addition to Bare By Vogue: the face tanning serum. I made my way up to the rooftop of The Marker Hotel where we were put through our paces for a workout by John Belton, Vogue’s trainer, followed by a delicious brunch.

Vogue, of course, looked incredible, and was joined by her new baba, Otto, the most adorable little fella with an impressive head of hair!

That evening I applied the light shade of the serum, which is made up of skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid and pomegranate extract — just two pumps are needed, so the bottle goes a long way.

I woke up with the loveliest healthy glow, and my skin didn’t feel clogged like it can with other face tans; it felt super hydrated and soft. Big thumbs up. €29, barebyvogue.com

Digital Editor, Bronwyn O’Neill is obsessed with…Where the Crawdads Sing

Since Reese Witherspoon announced that she would be adapting Delia Owens’ best-selling novel I was immediately on board. I did stay up until 3am to finish the book when I first read it, so you could call me somewhat of a fan! I was over the moon when I was kindly invited to a special screening of the film this week in the Stella Theatre where Daisy Edgar-Jones made an appearance.

The Normal People actor is honestly breathtaking in Where the Crawdads Sing, she had me crying, cheering and on the edge of my seat the entire time. If you like slow-burn dramas then this is the one for you.

Add to the fact that Taylor Swift wrote the most haunting song for it, this film was practically made for me.

Weekend Editor Sláine is loving…Depop

I’ve been trying to quit fast fashion for a while now, but it’s shockingly harder than you would expect. Generally I just try to cut down on how much I buy, which was working well, but as the weather started to get warmer, my winter-loving wardrobe just wasn’t going to cut it.

Luckily I was able to pick up some absolute gems on Depop.

The second-hand clothes selling platform has gained a lot of hype over the past couple of years, and while I’ve been using it for a while, I always found it challenging to find things in my style.

But I’m proud to say, that I’ve finally figured out a few hacks for navigating the site and getting items I really love.

The main thing is to be as specific as possible. If you just type in “dresses” then you’ll get lost in the millions of options. Try adding the style you like, colour, and the best tip that’s helped me is to search by brand, because you’re guaranteed to find a style you like from your favourite shop.

Also don’t be afraid to message sellers, a lot won’t have international shipping switched on but if you message and ask, people are normally happy to accommodate, just needing to update the price.

Thanks to these tips, I managed to find the denim mini skirt of my dreams which has served me well in the heat this week.
